Artist Bio: Marty Edmunds

Marty received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Syracuse University in 1962. She works in all mediums and has received awards in drawing, painting, sculpture, and fabric art. From 1994 to 2012, she worked on a series of oils called "The Salvage Series," which won numerous awards.

She has won eleven First Place Awards in the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts Banner contest, Professional Division. For twenty years, she worked as a graphic artist for Collegiate Pride, Inc. before retiring in 2009. Recently, she's been painting images of people, animals, and objects in watercolor.
