Artist Bio: Diane Maurer

Diane Maurer’s art has been exhibited throughout the world. Her work is represented in several museum collections. In 2018, the Metropolitan Museum of Art purchased forty of her marbled and paste paper designs. Her decorative papers,biographical story and ephemera relating to her career will be permanently preserved at the museum as part of the Decorative Paper Legacy Project. Commissions include designs for Lenox China, Godiva Chocolates, the White House and numerous book publishers. Diane has taught collage and surface design techniques throughout the United States and made guest appearances on several television shows including Martha Stewart Living. She is the author of thirteen books about paper art and collage.
