Bob Buderman - Photography

Artist Bio:

I began taking photographs more than forty years ago. I lived in South Jersey at the time and shot mostly black and white film which I processed in my basement darkroom. 

My subjects and style were what was called “street  photography.”  Mostly images of people, engaged in everyday activities, photographed in available light.  When we moved to Colorado in 2012 I no longer had access to a darkroom. Noticing that the streets of Colorado were filled with color, music, and spectacular available light I began using a digital camera.  

We now live in Centre County, which has its own unique subjects. In some ways, it has some of the qualities of the West and the character of the East. I continue to search central Pennsylvania for the opportunities to use both film and digital processes to capture a wide variety of subjects.
